FAQs
If you have any specific questions, get in touch here. Otherwise, the following FAQs may help:
- What is coaching?
Coaching is a forward focused process, supporting clients to create clarity and unleash the potential within themselves. As a coach I walk alongside with you through the journey that you are taking, helping to create manageable actions to move towards your overall goal. It aids getting from point A to B perhaps quicker than you would on your own by asking pertinent questions and using coaching models that have a certain amount of simplicity attached to them. Coaching is not a temporary fix. It is life changing process which allows you to explore your ideas, fears, goals and challenges, to discover what has been holding you back, to challenge any limiting beliefs and then to replace them with new empowering beliefs and ideas.
- What is the difference between therapy & coaching?
As a coach, I do not provide counselling or therapy of any sort. In general, most forms of therapy focus on ‘what has happened’. They are concerned with ‘the problem’. I will, help draw out what you truly want to be and do. To build you up to feel empowered and have autonomy. Coaching focuses on what is possible. It is future focused, action oriented and supportive in helping clients move towards their goals. We will be concentrating on setting and achieving targets and goals.
- There are other coaches offering similar things. Why should I work with you?
There are many different coaches in the world. Each offers various perspectives and practices different methods. Finding the right coach is essential. A basic level of comfort is key in any coaching relationship. As a coach there will be times when I challenge you, as any good coach would. Coaching can be an intense process, and good collaboration is key for this to be a successful alliance. My main goal is to add value. If the sessions feel good, but don’t propel you towards where you want to be, then we are creating little additional value. I am committed in you achieving your goal. And as such expect you to invest time and energy into the process. If we stagnate and don’t see progress, we will work together to understand what has not worked during the sessions. I offer complimentary call, which is beneficial for both of us to ensure we are a right fit and will lead to positive growth from working together.
- You havn't shared your prices. How much do you charge?
I am currently offering special COVID discounts. Get in touch with me and we can discuss which is the best option for you.
- How many sessions do I need & how far apart do they need to be?
In general, 12 sessions are recommended. However, the initial agreement can be for 6, 8 or 12 sessions. Add on sessions can be agreed upon to suit your needs. I do not dictate a set schedule for the sessions; however, most clients benefit with sessions once every 2 weeks.
- I don’t live in London, can you still coach me?
Yes! I am currently based in London, with clients from across the globe. I hold both in person and online sessions, based on your preferences.
- Can you guarantee I’ll get the results I want?
Ultimately achieving the results is dependent on you making the changes and taking action outside of the sessions. As such, I can’t guarantee that you’ll get exactly the results you want. Coaching is a collaborative experience. We have to work together to ensure we are bringing the best of us to the sessions, to grow and improve.
However, I can guarantee that you will be changed with our work. I know this because my clients so far have all had positive results from working together. I am focused on adding massive value to you. You can read more about what my clients have thought here.
We will also work on practical tactics that mean you'll build on each success and change your habits so that you continue to develop even after we stop working together. This can help ensure that the changes created have a lasting effect and last way beyond our coaching relationship.
- I have a very busy schedule. How can I make time for this?
If you don’t take time to step back, reflect and reassess, you won’t get to where you want to go. Taking time to work on yourself and think strategically will help you reach where you want to be more easily and faster.
- How do you give back to society?
We believe in supporting those who need our help, in whatever way we can, small or big. A percentage of the fees goes towards supporting CentrePoint, a charity supporting young homeless people.
